We build our heavy-duty Galvanised Cranked Hook & Band Hinges to last. This makes them suitable for hanging many items from our extensive gate range. This pack includes two hook and band hinges, perfect for heavy domestic gates or small field gates. The classic hook and band design works well with gates that are flush with a post. The crank lets the gate and post sit flush together. These hinges are much sturdier than T Hinges, but they offer no adjustment. Mount the hook onto the post and secure the band on the gate, allowing easy removal for maintenance. These robust hinges feature a black coating, also giving them a traditional ironmongery appearance. Common types of heavy-duty gate hinges include T-hinges, strap hinges and also butt hinges. Heavy-duty hinges provide enhanced durability and can support heavier gates. They resist corrosion and wear, making them perfect for outdoor use. Selecting the right hinge size is essential to keep your gate securely hanging. A hinge that’s too small won’t provide enough stability. For Tee hinges, the hinge length should also be at least half the width of the gate. This pack does not include fixings.
