Aluminium composite is a flat rigid material which is extremely popular with sign makers, designers, architects and fabricators. The composite panel consists of a polyethylene core that is sandwiched between two 0.3mm aluminium skins which is suitable for both screen and UV digital printing. The material can often be used for signs, DIY projects, splashbacks, partitions, wall protection, retail displays and so much more. Aluminium composite can sometimes be referred to as “ali comp” or “ACM”, which are both short names or Dibond®, Reynobond®, or Alupanel® which are simply brand names, much like Hoover® is with regards to vacuum cleaners. Tolerance: Aluminium Composite has an industry standard thickness tolerance of /- 0.2mm.
