Stainless steel fixings secure them, and we also supply them pressure-treated with TANALITH E. TANALITH E pressure treated timber has a long term protection against fungal and insect attack, including termites, for both in and out of ground contact, interior and exterior applications when treated to the correct end use specification. TANALITH E pressure treated timber has an initial natural green colouration. Upon external exposure, the green colour slowly weathers to a warm, honey brown and in the longer term becomes a natural silver grey. This weathering process does not indicate any loss of preservative protection. Our 3″ x 3″ timber posts are ideal for fitting your diamond trellis. Log Selection Careful selection of natural resources is crucial for creating successful products. We then handpick all raw materials to suit specific components. Each component comes from the appropriate log section and uses the highest quality material. In the green mill, we then saw the logs into rectangular shapes. The saws leave a rough surface, tearing out some fibers. Next, we also season or dry the timber to remove moisture. Finally, we machine seasoned products to achieve smooth or shaped surfaces.
