About our Square Horizontal Fence Panel Made from selected softwoods, our Square Horizontal Slatted Tanalised Fence Panel is a high-quality decorative continental fence panel. Due to its construction, the panel looks the same from both sides, making it the ideal boundary between neighbours. Panel width: 1800mm We manufacture our Decorative Square Horizontal Fence Panels with profiled softwood boards enclosed in a morticed framework, in addition we also use stainless steel fixings for added security. Please Note: If you need a panel which is a full 6ft wide (1828mm) just add a note your order requesting infill strips and we will deliver them free of charge. When screwed to each side of the fence panel this will make it up to an imperial 6ft. All our decorative panels, except for the Hazel Hurdles, come pressure-treated. This will also enhance the style whilst protecting the timber from insect infestation, fungal decay and rot. Exposure to weather conditions may cause the timber to fade over time. We recommend further timber staining to enhance the product’s appearance if this occurs. Please Note: Tanalised pressure treated timber has a built-in colouration and depending on the timber species the treatment colour may vary slightly. Log Selection Careful selection of natural resources ensures quality products. We also hand-pick raw materials to meet specific component needs, using the best part of the log. In the ‘green mill,’ we cut logs into rectangular shapes, however this can cause rough edges. If needed, we also season the timber by drying it, and then also machine it for smooth surfaces.
