Slitter blade 5Z 0.38mm Sollex coating for plastic film slitting & converting High quality stainless steel slitter blade with zero-friction coating on the edge for best results when producing and converting plastic film, thin stretch film and foils. The blade has a fine grain structure which ensures that the coating will protect the edge for as long as possible. High performance and durability.  5Z slotted slitter razor blade is the equivalent of 5LZ, but with straight corners instead of rounded corners. Suitable for: plastic film (LLPDE, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET, polyimide etc.), stretch film, agricultural film, pallet stretch film, construction and cover film, metallized film, aluminium foil, nonwoven (e.g. filter material).  For PP with additives such as calcium carbonate (this film is very similar to rubber), we recommend Sollex 5V. We also have customers using Sollex 5K and 5Z blades that successfully cut PP. If something in between V and K quality is needed, we have customers who are very happy with Sollex 5X blades.
