Slitter blade 5X 0.38mm full ceramic for plastic film cutting - Heavy duty High quality slitter blade in stainless steel, where the entire blade has been coated with a ceramic coating. This quality of knives gives best result for use in manufacturing of plastic film, for cutting films with many drudge additives. Very high performance and durability. For PP with additives such as calcium carbonate (this film is very similar to rubber), we recommend Sollex 5V. We also have customers using Sollex 5K and 5Z blades that successfully cut PP. If something in between V and K quality is needed, we have customers who are very happy with Sollex 5X blades.
